Presidential program “New Uzbekistan”:

An eco-city is being built in the city of Fergana. The green city, which will be built in the middle of the steppe, will become a real place of work and recreation for thousands of families. The number of local and foreign investors willing to participate in its construction is growing day by day. The eco-city is unique on a national scale. Created in the form of a complex of various structures, it will have all the necessary conditions for work and leisure, excellent infrastructure, and social facilities. In order to normalize the city's climate and provide it with water, a new canal is being built here. The New Uzbekistan Park will be laid out over an area of 70 hectares within this town. Currently, active work is underway with the participation of powerful equipment and builders. It is planned that more than 20 thousand jobs will be created in the city and the small industrial zone in the adjacent territory. It is planned to build almost 300 high-rise buildings (from 7 to 25 floors), kindergartens, schools, a hospital, two sports complexes and a mosque.

Eco-city, with a total area of 300 hectares:

Korean experience is used during construction, and Turkish experts are also involved in the project. It is planned to establish the production of electrical and textile products in the industrial zone. The head of state instructed to provide the array with communication networks and organize modern public services. It is noted that an 11 km long tunnel will be built on the territory of the massif, where all engineering communications (water and heat supply, electrical networks and telephone communications) will be located, except for gas networks, based on urban planning standards. The construction of the tunnel is intended to reduce the cost of repairing communications. According to the deputy head of the regional Construction Department, “there will be no need to dig up asphalt and damage green spaces.” Bicycle and pedestrian paths will be laid along the upper part of the communication tunnel. The First Deputy Minister of Construction stated that the total area of green space on the territory of the massif will be 56%. “This will be the greenest and most ecological massif among all the massifs that we are building today,” he said.
